  • Upgraded @opentelemetry/core and @opentelemetry/sdk-metrics to v2, resolving GHSA-8988-4f7v-96qf. The instrumented sdk-metrics range is now >=2.0.0 <3; Node.js 14.17.0 and later remain supported, with the OpenTelemetry Metrics feature disabled on runtimes below ^18.19.0 || >=20.6.0.

  • Fixed instrumentation of packages vendored by Next.js under .next/node_modules. Packages listed in serverExternalPackages are copied there under a hashed name and required by that name, so they were missed by the module allowlist and left uninstrumented.

  • Added Next.js 16 App Router support. App Router requests were previously named <METHOD> unknown route; both pages and route handlers are now named by their matched route, for example GET /products/[id].
  • Fixed a request hang when response body capture (logBody / captureBody) was enabled. Streamed responses that respect write backpressure waited indefinitely for a drain event.
