Atatus .NET APM traces Entity Framework Core by subscribing to the diagnostics it emits, creating a span for each database command executed inside an active transaction.

Package installation

Add the Atatus Entity Framework Core instrumentation package to the application.

dotnet add package Atatus.EntityFrameworkCore --version 3.2.2

If you are already using the Atatus.NetCoreAll package, Entity Framework Core subscribers are wired automatically and no additional subscription code is required.

Register the diagnostics subscriber once during application startup so Atatus can create spans from the emitted activities.
