Prometheus Integration - Atatus Docs

The Prometheus integration allows Atatus to collect custom metrics from applications that expose metrics in Prometheus-compatible endpoints. Use this integration to:

Collect custom application and infrastructure metrics from Prometheus endpoints
Monitor metrics not natively supported by Atatus

All metrics collected through this integration are treated as custom metrics.

Setup

No installation is required, the Prometheus integration is bundled with the Atatus Infrastructure Agent. Follow the steps below to configure metrics collection.

Configuration

Add the following configuration to /etc/atatus-infra-agent/conf.d/prometheus.d/prometheus.yaml

- hosts: ["localhost:9090"]
  metrics_path: <your_metrics_path>
  enabled: true
  namespace: <your_namespace>
  # metrics_filters:
  #   include: ["<your_metric_name>*"]
  #   exclude: ["<your_metric_name>*"]
  
  # To enable prometheus remote write 
    # remote_write:
    #   host: "localhost"
    #   port: 443
    #   ssl:
    #     enabled: true

    #   metrics_count: true
    #   enable_remote_write: false

After configuration, restart the Atatus Infrastructure Agent:

sudo service atatus-infra-agent restart
