StatsD Integration - Atatus Docs

The StatsD integration monitors the availability, uptime, and performance of StatsD servers in your infrastructure. This integration collects metrics about the StatsD server itself, including the number of metrics received categorized by metric type. Use this integration to:

Monitor StatsD server availability and uptime
Track metric ingestion rates by type (counters, gauges, timers, sets, histograms)
Detect packet processing issues and errors
Ensure reliable operation of your StatsD infrastructure

All metrics collected through this integration are custom metrics related to StatsD server operations.

Setup

No additional installation is required. The StatsD integration is bundled with the Atatus Infrastructure Agent.

Configuration

Add the following configuration to /etc/atatus-infra-agent/conf.d/statsd.d/statsd.yaml

metrics:
  - hosts: ["localhost"]
    port: 8125
    enabled: true

After configuration, restart the Atatus Infrastructure Agent:

sudo service atatus-infra-agent restart
